Indian food comes to your neighborhood

Indian food comes to your neighborhood

So far, the area of Brooklyn I have been living in, Bushwick, does not have indian food. Maybe some parts of Bushwick does (like the parts nearer to the more trendy and expensive Williamsburg), but we’ve yet to get a good place out here. However, our neighborhood has totally been changed / revolutionized / made grotesque by this place:

A Hot-N-Ready, with it’s $5 disgustingly gross already made pizza, has dramatically changed the landscape of the hood.  There is always a line, there are people eating whole pizzas while walking / waiting for a train / driving / riding their bikes.  There are leaflets and other propaganda strewn around the gutters.  It’s funny that in New York, the land of it’s own style of pizza, that this place is doing so well and fattening up the block.  I’m gonna tell you the truth, I don’t really like pizza.  I know it’s un-american, but about 85% of pizza is gross.
